A Little Girl's Dream...
So Friday morning my husband and I went to an auction. The story behind it was that a local theatre had abandoned 25 years worth of costumes, props, furniture, etc. and they were going to auction it all off in huge lots. So naturally... we were curious to see what's up. We got there early, walked around and picked out our favorite lots and decided how high we'd go on each. The scary thing about this auction is you couldn't go in the rooms, you had to see it from the door and use your best judgement... But we wanted to take a chance anyway. So when the auction started for the room of women's costumes, we bid... and won ALL of this:
So now I have all of these sitting in our house. I've estimated (just by looking at it) that there's probably about 1000 pieces or so. I'm still going through it all but I've found some pretty awesome things. I'm very excited about using them for pictures. I feel like a little girl with an endless amount of dress-up clothes. :)

To say that is awesome seems lacking. Yay for you and for the fun you're going to create with all of that!
Have mercy girl....you have enough to open up a second hand store. This will keep you busy for ages. Did you have to hire a truck to haul them home? Where do you park your car now? lol Have fun Alisha

Wowza! That looks like a dream come true! My mom should find a theater doing that for all the plays they do!
