I couldn't figure out what the sawdust was, but he assured me I would get it once I saw the present. So I ran downstairs and into the garage to see this sitting there (!!!!!):
I had seen this cradle on Pinterest a while back and fell in love with it, but had only mentioned it to him once, so I was COMPLETELY surprised when I found one in our own garage. He built this entire thing by hand! Of course, we have no kids to put in it, but it will be a cool prop/reading nook/decoration until then. :)
